Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Lead Automation Tester to join their team and drive automation testing initiatives across multiple projects. This individual will be highly hands-on with automation while also providing leadership, mentoring team members, managing priorities, and communicating regularly with business and technology stakeholders.
Responsibilities include the below:
-Lead automation testing efforts across multiple initiatives
-Design, develop, and maintain scalable Selenium automation frameworks
-Create and execute automated test scripts using TestNG
-Support CI/CD and automated testing best practices
-Manage competing priorities and heavy testing workloads
-Coordinate with developers, BAs, product owners, and business stakeholders
-Mentor junior and intermediate QA team members
-Provide testing estimates, planning, status reporting, and risk identification

Required Skills & Experience
-7+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation testing
-Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Programming experience, ideally with Java, Python or C#
-Experience building, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks
-Proven experience monitoring and reporting on QA metrics, automation execution results, defect trends, release readiness, and testing risks, while providing regular status updates and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders
- Experience with TestNG
-Heavy automation background with a focus on regression, functional, and end-to-end testing
-Experience working in Agile environments
-Proven experience leading QA teams and coordinating testing efforts across multiple workstreams
-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Banking or financial services experience
Experience with API testing
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
Experience with Cucumber, Maven, or Rest Assured
