Insight Global is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join a growing global technology company in Toronto. This role will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the People & Culture department while collaborating across multiple time zones, including Canada, Australia, and the Philippines. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with experience in recruitment, employee engagement, policy development, and compliance within a global or multinational environment.
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for hiring, fostering employee engagement, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives. This is a full-time, in-office position in Toronto with occasional flexibility required to accommodate international teams.

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
35 years of HR experience, preferably in a global or multinational setting
Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws and familiarity with global HR best practices
Proven success in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and policy development
Experience working with HR systems, tools, and data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones
Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple HR initiatives
Flexibility to occasionally work across Canadian, Australian, and Philippine time zones
Familiarity with Australian and Philippine labor laws
Experience developing learning and development programs for employees
Background in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives
Passion for culture-building and employee retention strategies
Prior experience in a fast-growing SaaS or technology company
