Insight Global is hiring a Governance and Controls Consultant for a large financial institution to support the People, Culture & Talent (PCT) Governance & Controls function. This role will focus on strengthening governance frameworks, enhancing control design, and ensuring effective risk management practices across HR and PCT processes. The Consultant will act as a hands‑on advisor to the business, supporting the effective management of operational, regulatory, and business risks. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in control documentation, process mapping, HR processes, and stakeholder engagement within large, complex organizations.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in governance, risk, and controls, preferably within HR or PCT
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, process documentation, and control frameworks
- Hands‑on experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing control documentation
- Proven ability to tie business processes directly to controls
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills; confident challenging and advising the business
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Experience working in large, complex, enterprise environments
- Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including U.S.-based partners
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Banking or financial services experience
- Experience working in highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of data controls, data governance, and records management
