Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an individual with a strong engineering mindset and sense of ownership, along with excellent organizational, follow-up, and prioritization skills to manage highly complex, multi-faceted assignments and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
Strong interest in contributing within a complex and mission-critical environment
Experience deploying, managing, and operating complex applications in a cloud environment (e.g., Azure)
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Shell, PowerShell, or Python
Understanding of core DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Configuration Management, Infrastructure as Code) and Agile principles
Ability to operate as a senior or lead developer and subject matter expert, independently resolving complex technical challenges
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with infrastructure, service, and application monitoring/logging
Experience with big data technologies, databases, and data storage/indexing approaches is considered an asset

Required Skills & Experience
Windows administration and PowerShell experience
Strong database experience, including maintaining and managing MS SQL databases (SSRS/SSIS)
QRM implementation experience
Cloud experience with Azure services (IaaS, IaC)
Experience with configuration management tools (SALT, Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
Development/engineering experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python)
Experience with CI/CD and version control tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus or similar)
