Insight Global is looking for a Senior Devops Consultant with a focus on applications to join a large banking client in downtown Toronto. This canidate will be reporting into the Senior director within the digital technology team within Production and will be responsible for providing strategy towards building CI/CD pipelines, software testing and configuration.

Required Skills & Experience
-excellent problem-solving skills and strategic mindset (i.e. able to understand what specific dev secops tools to use for each scenario)
-Proficient with tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub or GitHub Actions, JIRA, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible Confluence, and have expertise in Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD).
-10 years of overall experience with a software development background transitioning into devops environment
-great experience with build automation and an understanding of the right steps to simplify the process of managing software projects build cycle using Maven
-Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft's Azure, ARM Templating, Azure DevOps Pipeline
-Implementation of infrastructure as code deliveries, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and monitoring/hardening/policing/templating/delivery of AWS and Azure Services
-Strong technical knowledge in java and python, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and monitoring/hardening/policing/templating/delivery of applications
-Experience automating scans of application source code for quality and security using tools such as SonarQube to ensure dependencies are free from vulnerabilities.
-Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and network and security related solutions.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Technical knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Middleware tier, Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, AWS Security Groups, Network ACLs, Direct Connect, Azure Firewalls, ExpressRoute & IPSec Tunnels, Virtual WAN, WAF, Network Security Groups (NSG) and other network and security components of AWS or Azure.
-AWS and Microsoft Azure certifications, as well as ITIL certifications would be considered as asset.
