Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Content Designer to join a Big 5 banking client. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging and intuitive customer experiences for diverse product portfolios and user experiences. You will collaborate closely with various product partners, designers, and content designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Write and refine UX content for digital journeys (web and application flows), with a strong focus on minimizing drop‑offs and guiding customers through complex decisions.
• Craft clear, human, and empathetic microcopy (CTAs, form labels, helper text, error states, confirmations) that balances conversion goals with customer trust.
• Apply accessibility best practices (WCAG, AODA), ensuring inclusive language, usable error handling, and compliant experiences across all customer touchpoints.
• Partner closely with UX Designers to shape end‑to‑end experiences, contributing content throughout the UX lifecycle—from discovery and ideation through design, build, and launch.
• Participate in design and content sprints, contributing to journey mapping, wireframes, prototypes, and usability reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Researchers, and business stakeholders to align content with product intent, technical constraints, and customer needs.
• Use research insights, testing feedback, and performance data to iterate on content and continuously improve customer onboarding and conversion outcomes.
• Support personalized content strategies, tailoring messaging for different customer segments, personas, and sales contexts where applicable.
• Manage and track content updates, ensuring alignment across visible and non‑visible content, links, and system messages.
• Balance brand, legal, marketing, and regulatory requirements while advocating for user‑centered content decisions.
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence, stakeholder partnership, and a growth mindset within the Content Design practice.

We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
