Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Global Data Manager to join our client’s IT organization. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of enterprise data while supporting cross-functional business and department leaders. Based onsite at the Mississauga office and reporting to the Global Director, IT Strategy and M&A, the ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and data compliance, along with hands-on experience supporting ERP data migration and conversion initiatives. This individual will play a key role in establishing data-related processes and maintaining high-quality, well-referenced organizational data.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of overall IT experience in data management, master data, data quality, data governance, and metadata management
• Strong proficiency in database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Proficiency on data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Proficiency with of data governance and cataloging tools (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon, Microsoft Purview, etc.)
• Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software, MDM software preferably Informatica IDQ
• Experience working with ERPs including JDE, SAP, Business Central and Dynamics 365

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Needs to be good with 25% estimated travel across North America and Europe
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
