Insight Global is looking for a day shift Radiology Technologist position for a major medical center in Tulsa, OK. In this role, the Radiology Tech performs diagnostic radiology exams as ordered by providers, ensures proper patient positioning and radiation safety, manages the development and storage of films or digital images, and performs additional procedures such as EKG testing and Holter monitor processes.
Responsibilities:
· Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
· Produce high-quality images with minimal repeats while ensuring radiation and physical safety protocols are followed.
· Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
· Explain procedures and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams.
· Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
· Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers
· Assist with telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.

Required Skills & Experience

Job Requirements:
· Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
· Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
Basic Life Support certification
