Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level 3 to support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City. This individual will support aircraft modification efforts by reviewing engineering drawings, validating manufacturing requirements, developing work instructions, and supporting installation planning activities. The role will work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure successful execution of aircraft modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design changes for manufacturability and installation feasibility.
Participate in drawing reviews, approval processes, and engineering assessments.
Develop and maintain Drafted Work Orders (DWOs), manufacturing plans, and work instructions.
Support daily build plans through constraint identification and resolution.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Support producibility improvements and engineering change implementation.
Transition planning activities into aircraft installation and modification efforts.

Compensation: $60/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years of manufacturing, production, industrial, aerospace, or related engineering experience.
Experience reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Experience developing manufacturing plans, work instructions, or production processes.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Aerospace or defense industry experience.
Aircraft modification, sustainment, or production support experience.
Experience with CATIA, Creo, Teamcenter, DELMIA, MES, or similar manufacturing tools.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
