Job Description

A facilities services company is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support ongoing maintenance and operations at a military base in Columbus, OH. This is a large facility environment (~100 buildings across 50–70 acres) supporting electrical systems across multiple structures.

Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
Work on systems such as: Generators, Transformers, Switchboards, Circuit breakers, Motors and heating units, and Conduit systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues across multiple facilities
Perform work based on blueprints, layouts, and technical specifications
Support ongoing maintenance across a multi-building campus environment

Required Skills & Experience

Active Journeyman Electrician License
Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial or industrial electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems
Ability to meet federal site access requirements (active driver's license, background check, badging process)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to lift 75+ lbs and be on feet for extended periods
Experience on large campuses, industrial facilities, or government sites
Exposure to generators, transformers, switchboards, and distribution systems
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
