Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a molding maintenance technician that will be working on plastic injection molding presses, along with other maintenance‑related tasks associated with the role. This technician supports molding operations by repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Daily work includes performing preventative maintenance, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, replacing components, and ensuring all machinery meets safety and code requirements. The role also collaborates with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
Compensation: $35/hr

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
• Associate's in Engineering Science/Technology or 5+ years of experience as a heavy industrial maintenance technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical background, including troubleshooting.
• Ability to safely work with 480V systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, components, and code requirements.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred:
• Experience in molding, plastics, or automotive manufacturing environments.
• Fabrication experience.
• Familiarity with total productive maintenance (TPM) systems.
