Job Description
Design, build, and execute cryogenic, hazardous liquid, and gas test systems across varying pressures, temperatures, and configurations
Serve as Project Lead for large, multi‑discipline test programs, managing cost, schedule, and technical delivery
Develop pressure systems in compliance with ASME codes and NASA site‑specific requirements
Perform flow, pressure, compatibility, and stress calculations to ensure safe system operation
Prepare detailed work instructions and test procedures, providing oversight to mechanical technicians
Support and conduct cryogenic media testing, including liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, and other hazardous fluids
Present technical briefings and test results to NASA customers and internal leadership
Support adjacent lab groups (e.g., oxygen systems, hypervelocity testing) as needed based on workload

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
Cryogenic systems and cryogenic media handling
Hazardous test systems and high‑energy test environments
Hypergolic propellants or extreme‑condition testing
Pressure systems design and safety analysis
Project leadership across multi‑site, multi‑disciplinary teams
Strong experience with MS Project, technical documentation, and hazard analysis
NASA or government test facility experience strongly preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior NASA experience
