JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is critical to delivering strategic initiatives that drive business value and operational efficiencies.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving successful outcomes. This role requires strong project execution capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and a disciplined approach to governance and reporting.

Project Leadership and Planning:
o Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and roadmaps to ensure timely delivery.
o Define objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics for assigned projects.
o Align project activities with strategic business goals and priorities.
o Drive project execution by proactively managing tasks, resources, and deliverables.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
o Engage with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, expectations, and project priorities.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
o Provide clear, concise updates on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
o Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Risk, Issue, and Change Management:
o Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
o Develop contingency plans and escalate critical risks as needed.
o Manage project changes through a formal change control process, assessing impacts and executing them in a methodical and coordinated manner.

Governance and Reporting:
o Prepare and deliver status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards to provide visibility into project health.
o Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
o Promote and implement the organization best practices, standards, and methodologies across projects.

Resource and Budget Management:
o Track project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure efficient utilization.
o Optimize financial and personnel resources to drive successful project outcomes.

Organizational Change Management and Continuous Improvement:
o Develop a change-management plan focusing on awareness, engagement, communication, and training to effectively prepare stakeholders for adoption.
o Identify and recommend improvements to project processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize project delivery.
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices.

Vendor and Contract Management:
o Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as required by project scope.
o Ensure vendor deliverables align with project objectives and contractual agreements.

MUST HAVES:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
o 5+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
o Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
o Experience working with geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones and cultures is preferred
o Experience in project management tools and methodologies
o Strong risk management, planning, and execution
o Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and drive alignment across teams
