Job Description

One of our clients is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Global Senior Product Manager – Thermal Systems to drive growth within the Thermal Business Unit (BU), with a focus on the Thermal Systems Product Line (PL). This role is responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product life cycle, and ensuring market success for Thermal solutions across global markets.
The key area of emphasis will be the overall Thermal Chain from Grid or from On-site Power Generation to heat reuse.

The successful candidate will lead product planning, requirements definition, and go-to-market execution by collaborating cross-functionally with global key customers, engineering, advanced development, regional sales teams, global key customers, regional sales teams, engineering, advanced development, PMO. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative thermal solutions that address the rapidly evolving needs for AI-driven giga-scale deployments.

As Global Senior Product Manager – Thermal Systems, you will oversee partner product portfolios, support business growth, and lead efforts to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements while defining go-to market and marketing strategies for an overall Thermal System value proposition.


Key Responsibilities:
• Develop deep insights into customer needs and desired outcomes through extensive market, customer, and channel research to identify, evaluate, and pursue new market opportunities across the thermal chain that align with Vertiv’s strategic growth objectives.
• Define the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and collaborate with other Product Lines to share and align on requirements.
• Develop Thermal System Value proposition and pricing strategy, and follow up pricing initiatives with the different product lines (PL)
• Develop and promote tools and documentation for Data centers reference designs
• Define product requirements and specifications based on customer needs and market trends, applying traditional product management best practices.
• Develop and execute business cases for new products that complete the Vertiv Thermal System offering.
• Drive new product development and introduction (NPDI) activities to complete the product offering and successfully launch new solutions to the sales organization.
• Enable sales success through training, tools, and commercial support aligned with newly developed offerings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Thermal Systems applications and projects, representing Vertiv at global and regional industry events to promote offerings, build relationships, and gather market intelligence.
• Engage in key customer meetings and support Thermal Systems initiatives as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, commercial product leadership, or related roles, preferably within the thermal, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in new product introduction, commercialization, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of emerging thermal technologies and energy systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Global experience or exposure to international markets is preferred.
