Job Description
A utilities company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Transmission Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the scope, schedule, and budget for a portfolio of transmission and substation projects ranging in complexity and size, typically from $100K to $25M. Projects may include new transmission line construction, line rebuilds, new substation construction, transformer replacements, switchgear replacements, or a combination of these efforts.
This role partners closely with Development to transition approved projects into execution and leads the introduction of each project to the assigned stakeholder team. The Project Manager is accountable for coordinating stakeholder activities, driving progress, and managing deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle.
The Project Manager will monitor, manage, and report on project financials with support from the Project Controls team, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and schedules. Occasional field visits are required to support construction activities, address issues, and ensure alignment between field execution and project plans. The role requires strict compliance with all OSHA safety regulations. When on-site, the Project Manager must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include fire-retardant clothing, hard hats, EH-rated boots, and protective eyewear.

- 5+ years of experience as a project manager
- Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $100K to $25M, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight
- Experience with project financial tracking and cost scheduling
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Transmission and/or distribution experience
- Familiarity with substation and transmission line environments
