Job Description
A large global retailer is looking for a content learning developer to help create and centralize the training program for a centralized dispatch center. Content will vary from proprietary company information to how to fix a dock leveler. Candidates will be coordinating with director level management, senior managers, and on-field technicians themselves to gather the information. This opportunity is made for someone looking for a creative outlet and a chance to create a successful training program from scratch.
The FM Technical Writer will create and refine standard operating procedures (“SOPs”), knowledgebase (“KB”) articles, and other required content as agreed in conjunction with Customer to improve Analyst efficiency interacting with field technicians and automated alarms and support the FM Operations Manager with overall program execution via technical documentation. Responsibilities include:
Building process guides and coordinating with Customer to document knowledge content
Document Creation of SOPs and KB articles
Translate technical or complex processes into user-friendly documentation
Ensure consistency in structure and language across documents
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather information
Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect process or system changes
Organize content logically for easy navigation and retrieval
Use content management systems (CMS) hosted and managed by Customer, within Customer technical environments

Required Skills & Experience
- Related degree or 6+ years’ experience in the field
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience
- Has developed and executed training for more than 500 people
- e-Learning program experience

ISO 41001 cert - plus
LEAD cert - plus
