Job Description

An employer is seeking a Product Development Project Manager for a long term opportunity in the Blue Ash, OH area. This resource will be joining a leader in the medical device industry to support product launches for the franchise. This role can be complete hybrid, but does require on site work, so being relatively local to Blue Ash, OH is required for this role. The team is seeking someone with complex product launch experience and someone that can work cross functionally with C-level stakeholders.

This Project Manager will not have any direct reports, but will have Project Heads underneath them to manage each phase of the project lifecycle. This is involve with R&D and NPD responsibilities including: input and operational expertise to aid development strategy for management reviews, including scenario development, trade-off implications and the evaluation/assessment of improvement opportunities. They will also oversee time to market, cost of goods (COGS), development costs, quality metrics and ability to meet projected demand for the endocutter product launch. Other industry knowledge of GLP and GMP processes are ideal for this resource to hit the ground running.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years in a Project Management role overseeing product launch
Medical Device industry background is preferred, but other technical fields may apply
Technically sound in quality management systems, scheduling software and financial understanding
Component Level Design expereince
5+ years working external manufacturers/suppliers
