Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across an insurance organization. This role will focus on transforming complex insurance data (claims, underwriting, policy, premium, and financial data) into intuitive dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. The candidate will work as a part of the team, serving as a Power Bi admin, and most be able to work in unison with a team supporting CI/CD pipelines for Power BI using GitHub and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate has strong Power BI expertise, a solid understanding of data modeling, and experience working with insurance or financial services data.

Required Skills & Experience

· 6 years of experience with Power BI creating reports, utilizing reports and working with users to ensure data accuracy
· Experience connecting Power BI to diverse data sources including SQL Server, Azure SQL, data warehouses, data lakes, Excel, and APIs, then scrubbing the data, and ensuring queries are run effectively
· Experience working with DAX for data modeling
· Experience with GIT, CICD pipeline, and Azure DevOps

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience in the insurance industry, financial industry or banking industry
· Familiar with tableau and cognos
· Local to Cincinnati
