Day to Day:
A global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Deer Park, Texas or Rochester, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction initiatives, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Site Supervision: Oversee on-site activities, including subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and safety compliance.
* Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure construction work meets industry standards and Valvoline's quality expectations.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during construction.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to achieve project goals.
* Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and safety guidelines.

* 5 years of experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects by overseeing multiple teams of field contractors
* 10 years of experience with industrial/plant construction handling: quality control and processes for hyping, tanks, pipes, concrete, etc.
* Knowledge of EHS practices (environmental health safety)
* Administration of hot work permitting/ face permitting/ JSA (Job Safety analysis) - contractors to do their daily safety assessments of their work. - write up's)
Experience facilitating lock out tag out procedure paperwork and - de-energizing power sources (isolating the electrical or hydraulic hazard)
