Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Chef de Cuisine for an exciting new restaurant concept opening in Cincinnati, OH. This is a rare opportunity to join the team before opening day and play a key role in building the culinary operation from the ground up alongside the Executive Chef.

We're looking for a chef who brings fresh ideas, strong leadership, and a passion for developing people. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Sous Chef ready for the next step or an experienced Chef de Cuisine looking to help launch something new.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with the Executive Chef to prepare for the restaurant opening
- Assist with menu development, recipe creation, tastings, and product sourcing
- Create training materials and help establish kitchen processes and standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop culinary team members
- Manage food and labor costs, inventory, ordering, and operational efficiencies
- Review and analyze P&Ls and support budgeting initiatives
- Ensure food quality, consistency, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with front-of-house leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience

Compensation
- $70,000 - $84,000, exact compensation will be determined based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of culinary experience with at least 3 years in a Sous Chef or leadership role
- Hotel, resort, casino, country club, or high-volume hospitality experience preferred
- Strong background in American cuisine
- Ability to demonstrate expertise in performing all positions within the kitchen
- Experience with recipe development, food costing, inventory, and labor management
- Ability to read and manage P&Ls
- Professional demeanor with a calm, team-first leadership style
- Creative, forward-thinking approach with a desire to bring new ideas to the table
- Must have flexible schedule with availability to work Fridays and Saturdays
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
