ROLE OVERVIEW
This Registered Nurse will support a newly opening specialized residential group home located on the campus of a regional psychiatric hospital. The RN will play a critical role in supporting a small residential population with severe mental health diagnoses.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm | No weekends | No shifts
DAY‑TO‑DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide nursing care to approximately 11 residents in a specialized behavioral health group home
Work onsite alongside a dedicated team including a psychiatrist, case manager, house supervisor, and residential aides
Support medication management and clinical oversight for residents with severe mental illness
Serve as a consistent clinical presence in a smaller, more controlled residential environment
Collaborate closely with the assigned psychiatrist and residential staff to ensure continuity of care
Operate with a high level of autonomy due to the facility’s satellite location

Required Skills & Experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
4+ years of experience working with SMD populations
Strong background in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
Experience supporting clients with schizophrenia, severe depression, and other serious mental illness
Comfort working in a residential or group‑home‑style environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in residential treatment, transitional housing, or group home settings
Experience collaborating closely with psychiatrists in small, dedicated care teams
Background working in satellite or off‑site facilities with limited immediate clinical oversight
