Insight Global is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Instructor for a respected higher education client in the community college space. This individual will play a key role in educating and preparing the next generation of nurses through classroom instruction, clinical supervision, and student advising. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and eager to contribute to curriculum development and institutional service within a collaborative, inclusive academic environment. • Teach didactic, clinical, and/or lab courses as assigned
• Design and implement meaningful instructional activities
• Ensure course content aligns with SACSCOC-approved competencies
• Supervise students in clinical and lab settings
• Maintain accurate academic records (attendance, grades, reports)
• Evaluate student performance and provide academic advising
• Assist with curriculum review, updates, and new course development
• Participate in curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Advise and support assigned students throughout the program
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and ongoing professional development
• Participate in departmental, divisional, and college-wide meetings and committees
• Engage in community relations and advisory committee activities
• Support college initiatives and uphold institutional policies

Required Skills & Experience
• Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing (from a US DOE–accredited institution, e.g., SACSCOC)
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum of two (2) years full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience as an RN
• Preparation in adult education principles (if graduate degree is not in nursing education), per NC Board of Nursing requirements
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
• Ability to travel to multiple clinical sites during the workday
• Maintain competence in assigned nursing practice areas
• Current knowledge of RN and LPN nursing practice
• Commitment to the mission and role of a community college
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, collaboration tools)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education
• Two (2) academic years of teaching experience in a nursing program
• Teaching experience at the community college or university level
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential
• Experience with testing, evaluation, and curriculum development
Experience with distance learning or alternative instructional delivery methods
