Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled QC Analyst III to support quality control operations in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role focuses on analytical testing, documentation, and supporting compliance, audits, and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced lab setting.
Schedule & Location
Raleigh, NC (on-site)
Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Overtime or alternate hours may be required during peak production periods
Key Responsibilities
Perform wet chemistry testing and assays per SOPs using lab instrumentation
Accurately document, review, and report test results and observations
Support audit readiness and compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements
Assist with method development, instrument validation, and special testing
Identify and escalate deviations in results, samples, or equipment
Collaborate with formulation, filling, and packaging teams
Train and support junior team members
Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science (coursework in General, Organic, and Analytical Chemistry preferred)
Experience
2–3 years of analytical chemistry experience in an FDA‑regulated environment
Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Working knowledge of cGMPs, GLPs, and FDA requirements
Effective written and verbal communication
Comfortable with lab systems, data analysis, and documentation standards
