The Environmental Engineer is responsible for designing landfill systems for remediation projects. They will be doing site assessments to evaluate contamination levels and determine remediation strategies that are in compliance with environmental regulations. This person needs to have experience doing design plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D or other comparable software. Lastly, the engineer will collaborate with other multidisciplinary teams to create a sustainable remediation plan to protect the public and environment from contaminated waste.

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Technical design experience on solid waste, landfill, remediation projects
Design experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other similar design software
Minimum of EIT (working toward PE)
PE (Professional Engineer) or PG (Professional Geologist) license
Location preference in Greater Raleigh, NC or Greater Charlotte, NC area
