Job Description
We are looking for a Commercial Service Electrician for a small, well-established commercial electrical contractor in North Carolina. This role will focus on independently handling service calls, troubleshooting commercial electrical systems, and supporting national retail clients while working closely with a tight-knit, team-first group.
Job Logistics
• Shifts / Hours: 50–60 hours per week
• Location: North Carolina
• Travel: Occasional travel a few times per month; company covers travel expenses and per diem
• Work model: Onsite, field-based
• Tools/Tech: Mobile-based job documentation and time tracking software
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform commercial electrical service work independently at client sites
• Troubleshoot and repair panels, circuits, disconnects, and equipment
• Work with commercial and high-voltage electrical systems
• Complete indoor and outdoor service calls
• Document work using mobile technology
• Communicate clearly with customers, teammates, and leadership
• Follow all safety procedures with no shortcuts
• Support teammates as needed
Compensation: $25/hr to $30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial electrical service role
• Proven ability to work independently in the field
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience
• Comfortable working 50–60 hours per week
• Willing to work one weekend per month and participate in an on-call rotation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with generators or outdoor lighting
Prior travel-based service work
