Job Description

This engineer will design medium-voltage switchgear systems for manufacturing. They'll create electrical drawing packages, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs while supporting multiple projects and collaborating closely with project engineering and manufacturing teams. They will also help mentor junior engineers and perform quality reviews of designs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years OR Associate's degree with 8+ years of switchgear design experience
• Experience designing medium-voltage switchgear
• Experience creating:
• Wiring diagrams
• Schematic drawings
• One-line diagrams
• Three-line diagrams
• Manufacturing drawing packages
• Strong knowledge of:
• Breaker control wiring
• Protection relays
• Electrical control concepts
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, UL, and other switchgear-related standards
• Experience with EBASE, EPLAN, AutoCAD, SAP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
