Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Manufacturing Operations Manager in Hickory, NC to lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on time. They will manage a team of 3 engineers, made up of mechanical and industrial engineers. This individual will oversee multiple production functions including machining, assembly, maintenance, and fabrication while partnering cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, planning, and HR. They will monitor production flow, labor and machine utilization, and key performance metrics to drive accountability for efficiency, quality, and downtime reduction. The role will also focus on leading continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing production data to identify bottlenecks, and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. This role offers a compensation range of $110-130k aligned with experience.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (Production, Plant, or Operations Manager)
-Experience leading daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas
-Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
-Experience with production scheduling, labor planning, and operational metrics
-Ability to analyze production data and drive efficiency improvements
