Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a growing ambulatory portfolio while the team works toward a permanent backfill. This role will focus primarily on ambulatory healthcare projects, including clinic moves, acquisitions, and new service implementations. The Project Manager will manage projects across various phases—from early planning and vendor coordination (timeline creation) to onsite testing and go‑live preparation (onsite). Every week looks different, some are back-to-back some are slower based off project load. They have recently adopted copilot and AI tools to make them more efficient. The team is very close and known for their strong communication and culture.
This individual will work closely with a highly collaborative clinical applications team and must be comfortable operating independently, managing multiple initiatives, and adapting to shifting priorities. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and able to step in quickly with minimal ramp‑up while maintaining a thoughtful, team‑oriented approach.
The contract is initially short‑term (minimum 3 months), with strong potential for extension (6–9 months) and possible conversion to full‑time based on performance and business need.

Required Skills & Experience
-2+ years of strong PM experience
- Epic experience, specifically within ambulatory environments
- Proven experience managing ambulatory healthcare projects (e.g., clinic moves, acquisitions, new service lines)
- Strong understanding of ambulatory workflows, including:
Orders
Billing
Scheduling
- Understanding of supporting equipment and infrastructure of a new clinic.
- Experience with Epic build and module implementations
- Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance; not entry‑level
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects based on complexity and availability
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams and vendors
- Availability to work within the EST time zone
- Willingness to be onsite in Greenville when needed (strong preference for local or within driving distance)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with:
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft 365 tools
- Prior experience working in highly collaborative, close‑knit teams
Interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve efficiency
- Local to Greenville (or at least within a 6‑hour driving distance-mandatory)
