As part of the Enterprise Asset Management team, you will work within our operations team that provides full life cycle management of endpoint (laptop) hardware for faculty and staff. You will help build and maintain corporate policies for asset management, provisioning, deployment, reclaims of associate hardware, and end-of-life hardware disposal services for our institution, as well as providing operations support through request management within our ServiceNow ticketing system. You will also help identify process improvements within our focus area and guide changes to implementation. This position helps accurately capture and document project requirements and ensures that all stakeholders understand the project's scope and objectives. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with HAM, vendor management, and ITAM/Service management tools, and can effectively partner with IT, procurement, finance, and academic stakeholders in a complex campus environment.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate laptop refreshes of faculty & staff to help expedite implementation of our leasing program
• Perform hardware return outreach to faculty & staff, both from refresh and terminations
• Maintain client asset assignment data within our IT services database
• Create and maintain ServiceNow knowledge base documentation in alignment with operational standards to support hardware processes
• Work to identify business process improvements within the endpoint focus area and guide changes to implementation
• Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements related to hardware lifecycle processes and tools
• Evaluate current state lifecycle workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and user experience
• Support hardware refresh programs for faculty, staff, students, and shared environments (e.g., labs, classrooms)
• Assist with hardware asset management practices, including inventory tracking, lifecycle reporting, and compliance
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on hardware standards, pricing models, and lifecycle strategy
• Develop documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, lifecycle models, and gap analyses
• Support testing, validation, and rollout of lifecycle related tools or process improvements
• Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to continuously improve lifecycle governance and sustainability

Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting hardware lifecycle management, IT operations, or infrastructure
· Proven ability to gather and translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements
· Advanced spreadsheet skills e.g., pivot tables, vlookup formulas, etc.
· Experience with hardware refresh cycles (HAM), software asset management (SAM), and lifecycle planning
· Strong analytical, problem‑solving, verbal communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional organizations and client‑facing teams to improve process improvement

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Background in IT technology operations or technology supply chain management
· Financial acumen
· Previous experience using an IT ticketing system; ServiceNow experience is a big plus
