SAS Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented SAS Developer to join one of our large financial clients in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate will have strong SAS programming skills and experience with Teradata is a plus. This role requires the ability to develop and maintain SAS programs, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain SAS programs to support data analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Utilize Teradata for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various data sources.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAS programs and data processing.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a SAS Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SAS programming.
Experience with Teradata is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with various stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with some on-site presence in Charlotte, NC.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
