Job Description

The .NET Application Support team provides 24x7 production monitoring and support for critical infrastructure and applications supporting Bank of America’s Customer Facing Platform Technology. This role works independently on complex, multi-phase initiatives, proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent customer impact, while supporting business-critical systems.

The position includes incident response, monitoring, troubleshooting, escalation, and collaboration with global teams. The programmer also contributes to project delivery, mentoring junior associates, and improving monitoring and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities
• Monitor infrastructure and applications, respond to alerts, and resolve incidents
• Perform trend analysis to prevent production issues
• Escalate issues when needed and support change implementations
• Document procedures, improve monitoring, and assist with automation
• Provide guidance to junior team members and deliver assigned project phases

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of IT .NET production support experience in large-scale environments
• Experience with 24x7 support models
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core, JVM, and Windows
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, SiteScope, Tivoli Netcool)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and with global teams
• Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, including weekends

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• ITIL certification or ITIL-based role experience
• Exposure to ITSM frameworks, monitoring enhancements, and automation
