Mac Trellix Firewall Engineer

We are seeking a Mac-focused Trellix Firewall Engineer to build and implement a Mac client firewall platform from the ground up as part of a transition away from an existing Mac firewall solution.
This role is heavily hands-on and build-focused, requiring someone who can create and deploy Mac firewall policies, not just maintain or tune an existing environment. Once the solution is implemented, the internal Windows-based team will take over ongoing support.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Mac endpoint security and client-based firewalls, with Trellix strongly preferred due to centralized policy management by the security policy team.
Day to day responsibilities include:
• Manage and respond to Trellix firewall policy requests and security incidents on macOS
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot Trellix on Mac endpoints
• Work with internal teams to follow approved change, policy, and problem management processes
• Diagnose application compatibility and system resource issues
• Document configurations, findings, and operational processes

• Hands-on experience building and implementing Mac client firewalls from scratch (not maintenance-only)
• Strong experience securing macOS endpoints in an enterprise environment
• Experience configuring Trellix on Mac (or deep experience with comparable client-based firewalls)
• Ability to design and deploy firewall policies for 1,500–2,000+ Mac users
• Familiarity with enterprise change and approval processes
• Strong documentation skills
• Basic working knowledge of Windows OS

• Experience with Trellix ePO, including:
ePO Administration / Trellix Agent
ENS Threat Prevention
ENS Firewall
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Experience in a regulated or financial services environment
• Experience with additional endpoint security or client-based firewall tools beyond Trellix
