Job Description
This stand-alone HR representative manages day-to-day HR activities while partnering with a national HR team headquartered in Oklahoma City. Reporting to the HR Manager for US Distribution Centers, this role requires strong on-the-floor presence with associates across both 1st and 2nd shifts and flexibility to adjust schedules as needed. The HR Generalist is responsible for guiding the employee experience, leading local HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HR programs and policies.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead all local HR initiatives and serve as the primary HR contact for distribution center employees and managers.
• Manage employee relations issues, including coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
• Support HR programs such as onboarding, performance management, talent development, and training initiatives.
• Conduct weekly payroll reconciliation to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain and manage employee records, HRIS data, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR, including experience as a stand-alone HR representative.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and North Carolina employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, I-9 compliance, etc.).
• Experience in payroll reconciliation, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
• Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom) and Microsoft Office Suite.
