Job Description

Our client, a fast-paced matrimonial law firm in White Plains, NY, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a team of attorneys handling a high-volume caseload. This individual will play a critical role in managing family law matters, including divorce proceedings, and must be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to two attorneys (with additional collaboration across a team of four attorneys, both onsite and remote)
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients answering calls, gathering information, and vetting potential cases
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings and divorce-related filings
- Manage and track discovery compliance, including document collection, organization, and deadlines
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts (e-filings and physical filings as needed)
- Redline documents and assist with revisions throughout the litigation process
- Maintain organized case files and assist with heavy caseload management
- Support attorneys with general administrative and legal tasks as needed

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of Paralegal experience, preferably within family law or matrimonial law
- Strong experience drafting legal documents, including pleadings and divorce-related materials
- Familiarity with discovery processes and compliance requirements
- Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients in sensitive situations
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
