Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for maintaining production uptime by diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring a safe, sanitary, and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong troubleshooting skills, and the flexibility to support a variety of equipment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Work safely with AC/DC electrical systems, including up to 480V 3-phase power.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic blueprints.
- Support equipment utilizing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls and minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external contractors as needed for specialized repairs and projects.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of replacement parts and maintenance supplies.
- Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and food manufacturing standards.
- Complete additional maintenance duties and projects as assigned.

SHIFT:
- 2:30pm - 11:30pm/close.
- Monday - Friday
- Close will be around 11:30pm but could be a little earlier or later some days.

Required Skills & Experience

- Mechanical aptitude and able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
- 2+ years of experience in a hands on mechanical, maintenance type role.
- Has toolbox such as screwdriver, wrench / small hand tools.
- Comfortable working 2nd shift hours (2:30pm - 11:30pm/close)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in food manufacturing
- Exposure to fabrication/welding/soldering
- Experienced with electrical maintenance, 480V 3-phase
