Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Workday HCM Functional Lead to support a large-scale Workday environment within a global enterprise. This individual will serve as a key functional partner to business stakeholders, driving configuration, optimization, and ongoing support across Core HCM and multiple Workday modules. The ideal candidate combines deep Workday expertise with strong stakeholder management and business process design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and troubleshoot complex Workday business processes.
• Perform administrative functions (tenant configuration, data loads, reporting, integrations).
• Support testing, training, change management, and post-implementation enhancements.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, standards, and audit compliance.
• Support feature releases and partner with architects on prioritization and enhancements.
• Act as a functional partner to business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of Workday HCM experience.
• Strong understanding of Core HCM and at least three
• Workday modules (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Talent Management).
• Experience with Workday security, testing, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of Workday business process framework, custom objects, and core configuration.
• Familiarity with EIBs and APIs (for configuration/development roles).
• Understanding of Workday methodologies, releases, and best practices.
• Experience working with cloud-based, multi-tenant systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to resolve blockers independently.
• Awareness of data and information security practices.
Experience with Workday Extend (design, development, deployment, and support).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Workday Pro or Workday certifications.
• VNDLY experience.
• Agile delivery experience.
