Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join the Matrimonial practice group of an AM 100 law firm. Paralegal proficient in the practice of matrimonial and family law to work with high profile individuals, athletes and celebrities on highly confidential matters. In this role, the Paralegal would provide support to attorneys in the firms nationally recognized Matrimonial and Family law practice on all matrimonial matters from commencement to resolution.

Essential Functions:
-Assist attorneys in the review and drafting of various legal documents with an emphasis on the New York practice, as well as the Florida practice.
-Conduct factual investigations related to legal matters.
-Draft pleadings pertinent to Florida matrimonial matters.
-Cite checking, discovery and trial/preparations and trial attendance.
-Assist with the review and organization of mandatory disclosures and financial discovery.
-Drafts Net Worth Statements and Financial Affidavits.
-Conduct legal and factual research and prepare written material on research results.
-Prepare other subpoenas, motions to compel and assists with preparation for depositions.
-Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

The billable hour requirement for this role is 1500 hours. This is a hybrid role, sitting in the office 3 days per week. $60K to $100K per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits are provided.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors Degree
-No less than 5 years of paralegal experience, specifically with matrimonial/family law
-Experience with New York State matrimonial and family law.
-Knowledge of the family law litigation process from start to finish.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-10 years of experience is a major plus
-Experience with Florida matrimonial and family law
