Job Description
Insight Global is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to conduct a large technology platform assessment for a new benefits management system that is in consideration for a Fortune 100 client. The selected candidate will ensure the technical assessment is comprehensive, addressing SaaS infrastructure, platform scalability, compatibility, data migration, and security. The specialist combines technical expertise with the ability to create well-documented and visually engaging deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough technical evaluation of the proposed benefits management system and evaluate the underlying architecture of both platforms.
- Assess infrastructure robustness, scalability, and availability.
- Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
- Review data migration strategies between SaaS platforms.
- Ensure platforms meet security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
- Conduct technical assessments focused on infrastructure, scalability, and data transition mechanisms.
- Create final deliverables, including detailed report and professional presentations tailored to diverse audience.
- Aid in designing PowerPoint presentations featuring diagrams, charts, and a cohesive narrative flow.
- Draft an executive summary and recommendations in Word, tailored for leadership stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on system architecture and technical assessments
- Expertise in SaaS architecture and platform evaluation specifically for healthcare systems.
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of data infrastructure and its applications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with auto adjudication systems and their implementation
- Knowledge of modern front-end and back-end technologies
- Experience in leading teams and projects
