Job Description

We are seeking a highly technical Product Owner / Product Manager to support and enhance our Machine Readable File (MRF) compliance platforms. This individual will play a critical role in managing public-facing transparency and compliance websites, partnering closely with engineering teams, and driving the migration of existing MRF solutions in-house from a third-party vendor.
The ideal candidate can effectively bridge business and technical stakeholders, translate compliance requirements into actionable product roadmaps, and ensure the reliability and accuracy of critical transparency reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the migration and ongoing management of Machine Readable File (MRF) compliance websites and related digital assets.
Own the product backlog and prioritize initiatives that support transparency and regulatory compliance requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Manage GitHub repositories, backlog items, release planning, and issue tracking activities.
Partner with engineering teams to investigate, prioritize, and resolve defects, production incidents, and operational challenges.
Ensure MRF platforms remain compliant with federal and industry transparency regulations.
Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate communication between compliance, product, and technology teams to align priorities and drive execution.
Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.
Support testing, implementation, and production releases for compliance-related enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or related role supporting technical products or platforms.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management best practices.
Experience partnering directly with software engineering and technical operations teams.
Hands-on experience using GitHub, including repository management, issue tracking, and workflow collaboration.
Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements and user stories.
Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate operational and technical issues.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting healthcare technology, compliance, transparency, or regulatory initiatives.
Familiarity with Machine Readable File (MRF) regulations, Transparency in Coverage requirements, or related healthcare compliance programs.
Experience managing public-facing websites, APIs, or compliance reporting platforms.
Knowledge of software development lifecycles, DevOps practices, and cloud-based technologies.
Experience supporting vendor transitions or in-sourcing initiatives.
