Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Azure Infrastructure Automation Engineer to come onboard! This individual will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s infrastructure-as-code platform by scaling Terraform module libraries, improving CI/CD pipelines, and building a modern AI-enabled self-service infrastructure experience. The engineer will work within a platform engineering team to standardize Azure infrastructure delivery, ensure governance, and eliminate developer bottlenecks through automation and tooling. This is a highly collaborative environment requiring strong communication with engineering teams and stakeholders to continuously refine infrastructure workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
-7+ years of hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform (and Terragrunt preferred)
-5+ years of deep Azure experience (IaaS + PaaS services)
-Experience with CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for infrastructure deployments
-Hands-on experience with IaC quality tools (TFLint, validation, policy-as-code)
-3+ years scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
-Experience designing reusable Terraform modules at scale
-Strong understanding of Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, and secure access design
