Role Overview
The Electrical Assembly Supervisor leads and coordinates electrical assembly activities for High Voltage GIS equipment, ensuring safe, accurate wiring and pressure rising in accordance with clients installation guidelines. This role supervises electricians and installers, interprets technical drawings, manages union contractor resources, and ensures work is completed on schedule while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate electricians and installers working on High Voltage GIS equipment
• Lead wiring and pressure rising activities with a strong focus on precision and quality
• Interpret and analyze technical drawings to guide installation processes
• Manage union contractor resources, including task assignment, motivation, and performance oversight
• Ensure work follows established installation procedures, timelines, and schedules
• Make sound technical and operational decisions, considering cost, safety, and quality impacts
• Maintain a safe, clean installation environment in compliance with safety standards
• Promote teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to instructions

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of hands-on electrical or assembly experience, preferably with high-voltage or industrial equipment
• Experience reading and interpreting technical and electrical drawings
• Strong electrical knowledge, including use of electrical tools and measurement instruments
• Prior experience leading or supervising electrical work teams (formal supervision preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow structured processes, schedules, and work instructions
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to integrate into existing operations
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field
• Experience supervising union labor
• Prior experience with High Voltage or GIS equipment
