Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Solutions Engineer for one of our largest clients in the financial services industry. This role requires strong Informatica platform experience and deep expertise in automation and systems integration to design, architect, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions that enable an enterprise data marketplace and broader data platform capabilities. This is a hands‑on, cross‑cutting role that involves architecting solutions both within Informatica, including metadata management, data catalog, data integration, governance, data quality, and automation, and beyond Informatica, integrating with cloud platforms, data engineering ecosystems, analytics tools, and AI‑enabled services. The ideal candidate will bring broad technical depth, strong architectural judgment, and a focus on building automated, scalable, and resilient integrations. You will partner closely with product managers, platform teams, data engineers, security, governance, and business stakeholders to evolve the enterprise data marketplace and supporting data services.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise‑grade solutions in distributed, cloud‑based environments.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience architecting and implementing solutions using Informatica platforms, including data integration, metadata management, data catalog, governance, data quality, and automation.
- 3+ years of experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent), designing and integrating data and platform services.
- Strong hands‑on experience with automation and systems integration, including API‑based integrations, workflow orchestration, and event‑driven architectures.
- Deep understanding of data governance and data management concepts, including access control, metadata, lineage, data contracts, and policy‑driven automation.
- Experience taking solutions from concept and prototype through production in complex enterprise environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience integrating analytics platforms, semantic layers, or AI/ML workflows with data platforms.
- Prior experience in a solutions engineer, platform architect, or technical lead role.
