Job Description

The Mobile Building Engineer / Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, operational support, troubleshooting, diagnostics, building inspections, general maintenance, and repairs for an assigned portfolio of industrial warehouse and distribution facilities. Working under the direction of multiple Property Managers, this position serves as the primary field representative for building operations and is responsible for maintaining institutional-quality assets through proactive maintenance, tenant service, vendor coordination, emergency response, and technology-driven documentation. The Mobile Building Engineer / Maintenance Technician is the boots on the ground for the Property Management team and plays a critical role in protecting the owner's investment while delivering exceptional service to tenants, clients, and ownership. This position requires daily travel between multiple industrial properties utilizing a company-provided vehicle, the ability to prioritize competing work assignments, work independently, communicate proactively, and effectively utilize digital technology throughout the workday.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2–4 years of commercial or industrial building maintenance experience
Experience supporting industrial warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or commercial real estate portfolios strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Experience utilizing CMMS systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), mobile inspection software, and digital work order management platforms preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, smartphones, and tablets
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple Property Managers across numerous properties
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
