Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead U.S. accounting operations for a growing pharmaceutical organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, team management, and ensuring strong internal controls across the business.
This role partners closely with FP&A, Supply Chain, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights.

What You’ll Do

Lead the month-end close for U.S. entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting (IFRS)

Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and GL activity within SAP

Perform variance analysis and investigate key financial movements

Manage and develop the accounting team (AP, AR, inventory, accruals, reconciliations)

Own the close calendar and ensure all deliverables are met
Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and manage audit readiness

Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance (GAAP, IFRS, IRS)

Oversee intercompany accounting (royalties, R&D allocations, shared services)

Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Regulatory teams

Support cash management and treasury activities

Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements

Required Skills & Experience

-7–10 years of accounting experience
-Public accounting and/or pharma industry experience preferred
-Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams
-Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and compliance requirements
-Experience with SAP (required) and advanced Excel
-Proven ability to own month-end close and audit processes
-Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
-CPA is required
