Day-to-Day:
• Manage the preparation and completion of annual Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports
• Coordinate state surveys, reimbursement filings, and regulatory reporting
• Lead and support third-party governmental audits and serve as the primary audit contact
• Research, monitor, and analyze Medicare and Medicaid regulatory changes and their financial impact
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reimbursement-related reporting and analysis
• Calculate and analyze reimbursement reserves and third-party liability activity
• Partner with operational and finance leaders to review financial performance and reimbursement impacts
• Identify opportunities to improve reimbursement processes, procedures, and controls
• Serve as an administrator for reimbursement-related systems and CMS platforms
• Supervise and develop one Financial Analyst
• Support a team environment with strict reporting deadlines and high visibility initiatives
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Reimbursement for a top healthcare client in South Jersey. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing all Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement activities across a multi-hospital health system. The ideal candidate will bring strong hospital reimbursement experience, deep knowledge of Medicare Cost Reports, and the ability to independently manage regulatory reporting, audits, and reimbursement analysis. This position will partner closely with finance and operational leadership to ensure accurate reporting, monitor regulatory changes, support governmental audits, and drive process improvements. The Manager of Reimbursement will also supervise a Financial Analyst and help strengthen reimbursement operations during a period of team growth and transition. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced reimbursement professional or a Senior Reimbursement Analyst ready to take the next step into leadership.

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
• 5+ years of hospital reimbursement experience (not physician/practice-side reimbursement)
• Strong experience preparing and managing Medicare Cost Reports
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
