Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Data Center Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our data center facility. This role is essential in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance, managing vendor coordination, and supporting both internal and external customer needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facility operations, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Site Data Center Operations Manager in daily operations across the facility or campus.
• Serve as a key liaison for internal teams, external customers, and vendors to ensure effective communication and smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and information for vendor and customer management.
• Coordinate access, freight elevator scheduling, and loading dock usage as needed.
• Support compliance and customer audits by gathering required documentation, coordinating vendor input, and participating in audit walks and follow-ups.
• Support DCM with customer service requests at the site.
• Manage ordering and inventory of data center spare parts and supplies.
• Organize, track, and report on regulatory documentation including air permits, SPCC/DPCC plans, refrigerant tracking, and EPCRA compliance.
• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for CMMS management and escalation post-training.
• Support CMMS activities such as asset data accuracy checks, event tracking, and closeout audits.
• Verify and maintain vendor maintenance documentation for critical data center equipment.
• Track and report capital (CapEx) and operational (OpEx) expenditures and identify trends.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in facility operations, preferably in a data center environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Tools Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Customer Service: Demonstrated success in delivering high-level internal and external customer support.
• CMMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
