Job Description
We are looking to hire a seasoned Scrum Master to support a busy, fast‑moving automotive client. This individual will be responsible for establishing and reinforcing Scrum practices while enabling high‑performing, cross‑functional, and self‑managing teams. The role ensures effective delivery by coaching teams on continuous improvement, facilitating productive Scrum events, removing impediments, and fostering transparency across processes and work products. The Scrum Master will partner closely with the BSA/Product Owner to support empirical product planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder collaboration, while coaching stakeholders to participate effectively in Sprint Reviews and training and coaching software development teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid methodology environment, as the client operates within a blended waterfall and agile delivery model; therefore, the Scrum Master must be adaptable and pragmatic rather than rigidly prescriptive in Agile or Scrum practices. The Scrum Master will work heavily with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Please note that this individual will serve as the sole onshore ATC for the team and is required to be onsite three days per week—Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
