Release Train Engineer

An automotive client is looking to partner with a release train engineer to help support and guide 7 agile teams. The role supports the teams by facilitating Quarterly Planning, Agile Development and Delivery meetings, Scrum of Scrums, PO Syncs, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, escalating impediments, managing risk, and helping promote development and delivery-level continuous improvement. Additionally, this role assists with planning, managing, and governing releases; having the necessary authority and responsibilities to help guide the program toward the business goals. Helps coordinate and facilitate the activities necessary to prepare internal and external stakeholders to the releases/solutions and assures that the most critical governance elements of quality particularly internal and external security, regulatory, and other compliance related aspects of the system have been appropriately addressed prior to release.

10+ years of PM/Release Train Engineer experience
Recent experience managing an environment then is transitioning from waterfall to agile
1-3 years of Release Train experience
Experience working with at least 5+ scrum teams
