Job Description

A large energy client is seeking an IT Specialist III to work onsite five days a week at its Camden, NJ location, supporting both office and production staff. This individual will respond to approximately 15–20 daily tickets through ManageEngine, providing remote and hands-on support for a full range of Level I through Level III desktop support issues, including Active Directory user administration, password resets, new user onboarding, email configuration, multi-factor authentication, and network connectivity troubleshooting. The IT Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, with exposure to Windows Server, VMware, enterprise storage, and backup systems, while collaborating closely with IT leadership to ensure high availability, thorough documentation, and continuous improvement in support of critical manufacturing operations.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2012–2022), Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365 administration.
Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration, including user management, permissions, and group policy administration.
Experience supporting VMware virtual environments (vSphere/ESXi) and enterprise storage systems such as EMC Isilon or NetApp.
Familiarity with backup and recovery systems (NetBackup or equivalent) and disaster recovery testing.
