Integrated Security Operator

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Physical Security Technician or Specialist to join their centralized IT operations team 5 days a week onsite in Camden, NJ. Must be comfortable working weekends and overnights. The team plays a crucial role in managing, monitoring, coordinating, and responding to incidents for the enterprise as a whole. The Physical Security Tech's will be responsible for monitoring multiple different facilities and site locations which include but are not limited to monitoring alarm systems, sensors, cameras, access control points, and managing security incidents in real time with the accurate response.
*Must be able and willing to work on weekends and overnight when required.

1-2+ years of experience monitoring physical security systems (milestone, exacvision, CCTV) and access control systems to detect and respond to threats
incident response and escalation to any physical security systems or unauthorized physical access that could lead to a breach in data or physical security
assess and mitigate risks to ensure protection of the organization
collaborate closely with other departments to ensure security policies and procedures are followed consistently across physical and digital environments

Experience correlating alarms from various systems to help identify patterns and prioritize responses to reduce false alarms and ensure critical incidents are addressed ASAP
Experience utilizing camera monitoring systems such as Milestone
Education & Background: Associates Degree in Physical Security, Criminal Justice, etc. Background in physical security, or certifications including education or background in criminal justice, or certifications within physical security including: PSP, CPP, CSS, etc.
